Adopt a Pet from the RSPCA

Every year around Queensland, RSPCA helps more than 12,900 cats in need to help them find a caring new furever home. All of our cats and kittens are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, worm and flea treated.

You can adopt a cat from most RSPCA locations (over 4 months) from $180 and a kitten from $199. We currently are holding a Name Your Price adoption promotion state-wide for our adult cats. Find out more about Name Your Price here.

You can adopt a dog from most RSPCA locations (over 4 months) from $315 and a puppy from $465.

What a small price to pay for a lifelong friendship!

For every cat that finds themselves on our doorstep across the state it costs the RSPCA on average $369 and an average of $479 for dogs - this covers everything from desexing, vaccinations, microchipping, worming and flea treatments, health checks - to ensuring they have a comfortable stay while they are visiting.

RSPCA Qld requires $30 million annually to support our animal centres, programs and services. As a non-government, community based charity, RSPCA Qld receives less than 1% of government funding and relies on donations, bequests and sponsorships from ordinary Queenslanders.

If you are looking for a new family member, then look no further. We have thousands of cats each year waiting for their pawfect match to come along.
