The RSPCA Queensland Inspectorate is calling for more information about Beetle’s rough encounter.

Between August 31 and September 3, 2016 Beetle the cat was shot in the Chambers Flat area, Brisbane.

A Good Samaritan found Beetle and brought him into the Brisbane RSPCA for treatment to save his life. He had horrific injuries to his hind leg, suffering from a fractured proximal femur and shrapnel found embedded in the wound.

Sadly Beetle’s leg needed to be amputated due to the severity of injuries he sustained. Despite his awful encounter, this sweet cat loves head rubs and is recovering at the RSPCA. He will soon be on the lookout for a new home. Lucky for Beetle he has 9 lives!
