Animals Animal Welfare Cats Dogs Posted Nov 30, 2023
Watch senior dog Lettie get a second chance at RSPCA Queensland as For the Love of Pets continues...

In episode three of hit docuseries For the Love of Pets, you can watch the case of a Muscovy Duck who found its way to the RSPCA via the Rescue Unit after a terrible tangle with fishing line. And Lettie, a senior dog, also turns to RSPCA Queensland in need of immediate medical attention and grooming. Will Dr Bronte be able to help by treating her severe medical issues?

A long-term RSPCA resident, Sandy, is also desperately in need of a new furever home. Her luck could be about to change after long-time dog owners and lovers Anne and David reach out to the RSPCA. Their heartwarming meeting is not to be missed.

For RSPCA Adoption Officer Nellie, animals are her life. Watch as she steps up to help an anxious pup called Cody from Kingaroy.

If you watched episode two of For the Love of Pets, you may remember Lilley. Since being adopted by her new young family, Lilley's weight has dropped from 14kg to 11kg. With a new lease on life, her ideal weight of 8kg is firmly in their sights with a new Royal Canin diet.

"Lilley loves being the queen bee in this home and loves gentle pats and affection and being with her humans," Lilley's Mum said.

"She is making great progress with her weight and is getting around easier while enjoying life."

With over 18,000 pets coming into RSPCA Queensland every year, For the Love of Pets is not to be missed!

For the Love of Pets Episode 3 airs on Channel 9 at 7:30pm Friday 1st December.
