Swimmer Shayna Jack is fresh out of the pool and into the RSPCA Ambassador team! You may have recently seen her competing in the 2018 Commonwealth Games and taking out a gold medal! She has a passion for animals and is keen to help spread the word about the RSPCA and pet care.

“I have always had a passion for animals and it is heartbreaking when such beautiful animals are left without a home. I wanted to join as an RSPCA ambassador to try and make a difference.”

Shayna has quite the menagerie of animals at home too! “I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bearded dragon, fish, cockatoo and an Indian ringneck parrot.”

At just 19-years-old, Shayna has already made outstanding achievements! We asked her about her biggest career highlight so far, “Winning Gold and a World Record in the 4x100 Freestyle Relay at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.”

Keep an eye out for Shayna at RSPCA events and supporting the cause in the future as an Ambassador. She hopes to support adoption drives and encourage responsible pet ownership through desexing. You can follow Shayna’s Instagram page here.
