As the State's oldest, leading animal welfare organisation, RSPCA Qld has a long history of working to save, rehome and enrich the lives of animals, and also to provide education to the wider community.

At RSPCA Qld, we acknowledge that our organisation cannot be any greater than the people who comprise it, and lead it. To this end, our Human Resources department are dedicated to developing systems that enable us to identify and invest in our top talent. In conjunction with our highly successful Rewards and Recognition program, 'Make Your Mark', 2014 saw us launch a new development concept, ‘Golden Opportunities’, which provides our most consistent high performers with tailored developmental opportunities, and allows RSPCA Qld to acquire new knowledge bases and skills for the future.

There are many areas within RSPCA Qld where you can help us work hard to achieve our mission statement: Helping Animals, Enlightening People, Changing Lives

At RSPCA Qld, we operate with over 5,000 volunteers and 415 paid staff who cover a range of different roles in the organisation across the following areas:

  • Customer Service and Administration
  • Inspectorate
  • Head Office
  • Shelter Operations
  • Vet Services
