Please meet our Daisy..

Daisy is a very healthy, middle-aged lady with a beautiful thick fur-coat and large, yellow eyes. At just over 6 years of age, she has breezed through her recent health check at the vet clinic and, with loving care, Daisy has many more years ahead of her. She has a beautiful thick coat that doesn't require a lot of maintenance and large, yellow eyes. Please read on for Daisy's adoption recommendations:-

* Cats are generally highly sensitive animals (you don't brush a cat the wrong way for example) and there can be a limit as to how much attention and patting they can accept in one sitting. Our feline friends who have a short fuse and can become unpredictable in their behaviour, are know as over-stimulated or high-arousal cats. Daisy is one of these cats and is the boss of her feelings.

* Daisy would prefer to be a companion to someone who has a mature, quite household and is experienced in cat behaviour and body language. VERY SORRY-NO CHILDREN, NO OTHER CATS AND NO DOGS PLEASE.

* We recommend that Daisy has access to at least TWO cat scratching posts, as this can help with her
high-arousal times. If one is placed near a window, it will provide Daisy hours of cat TV of the outside world.

* Daisy has always been an INSIDE CAT and it would be unsafe for her new guardian to allow her to roam outside. It is imperative that she has an indoor lifestyle.

* To maintain her wonderful health, we recommend that Daisy has high quality dry biscuits and delicious wet food for hydration.

* Daisy would benefit from having a "launch room" when she goes to her new home. This is an area that has all her essential items e.g. water, food, bedding, toys and litter tray.
