Hi, I’m Mako

Mako is a 3-year-old desexed female domestic medium-haired cat with a striking black and white coat. This sweet, sensitive girl was sadly surrendered through no fault of her own and is currently feeling overwhelmed by the shelter environment. Mako would thrive in a quiet home, ideally starting in a launch room before being gradually introduced to the rest of the house. She is best suited for a single-cat home, as she's been fearful around other cats and has never lived with other animals. Mako's ideal home would include older kids who can understand her body language and know when to give her space. Once comfortable, she's very affectionate with her family and enjoys gentle attention, sitting in laps, and treats like roast chicken. Mako is ready for a loving, patient home where she can blossom into the wonderful companion she is.
