Meet Blu, a handsome boy eager to find a loving forever home where he can thrive. Blu has some specific needs and preferences that make him a unique and wonderful companion for the right family.

Blu is a dog who requires a settled environment to feel secure and comfortable. Transitioning him into a calm and stable home environment will be essential for his well-being and happiness.
Blu would greatly benefit from having a doggy friend in the household. He is social and would do well with an older, calm male or female companion who can be a steady presence and help him feel more at ease.

Due to his temperament and needs, Blu is best suited to a home without small children. However, older children who understand his needs and can interact with him respectfully would be a good match for him.
Blu thrives in a large, fully fenced backyard where he can explore and play safely. This environment would allow him the freedom to stretch his legs and engage in activities that enrich his day.

While Blu hasn't shown much interest in toys yet, he is eager to learn and would love to be taught how to enjoy them. He is very food motivated, which makes him highly trainable. Blu already knows his basic commands like "sit" and is eager to learn more tricks and skills with positive reinforcement training.
Because Blu loves food enrichment activities, providing him with these when left alone will keep him mentally stimulated and content. Crate training will also be beneficial for Blu, providing him with a safe and secure space he can retreat to when needed.

Blu is currently working on his lead training and is becoming more confident with each walk. With patience and positive reinforcement, he will continue to improve and become a great walking companion.
