He would do best in a home with older children where they can respect his initial nervousness and give him the time he needs to feel comfortable.

Paxton thrives in the company of other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for a compatible female dog. Any potential doggie friend should meet Paxton beforehand to ensure they get along well. While Paxton is great with dogs, he is not suited to a home with cats due to his rough play style.

For Paxton's safety and security, a home with indoor/outdoor access would be ideal. Additionally, he requires a securely fenced yard with plenty of room for him to stretch his legs in comfort.
