Hi, I’m Lola

Lola, a beautiful labrador with a heart as big as her love of food, is searching for a forever home where she can thrive and grow. Having so far spent her days on expansive acreage, this is where she feels most at home. Despite her familiarity with an outdoor lifestyle, we think that this bright young lass might be ready to embrace the charm of suburban living, with a calm and committed owner by her side.
Living in a rural environment, Lola has had minimal exposure to the bustling world beyond her property lines, nor the need to have been on a lead before. As a result, she is initially cautious in new surroundings and with unfamiliar people and novel circumstances, but she gives 100% in trying to overcome her fears with the patience and gentle reassurance of her trusted humans. She is also still learning how to walk on the lead, so a safe and secure yard is a must while she adjusts to on-lead outings in quiet places. In the safety of her known surroundings, her curiosity knows no bounds! She is funny, silly, chatty and like any lab, she has an affinity for investigating with her mouth - even if it means occasionally sampling non-edible items!

Lola's ideal home is one filled with love, patience and consistency. She thrives on routine and giving her time to adjust to her 'new norm' is going to be essential. A dedicated owner who understands her breed's need for mental stimulation and exercise will find in Lola a loyal companion eager to learn and bond.

Lola has lived with other dogs previously and came into care with her friend Larry. While they don't need to be rehomed together, if you are thinking of adding double the love (and of course work) to your family, then they would be happy to go to a new a home together.
