Introducing Salt
Despite his name, this beautiful snow-white feline is as sweet as sugar.
He is incredibly affectionate with a very gentle and loving nature. Salt is a special boy who is hearing impaired, and can therefore be a bit louder when he gets chatty, but it doesn't slow him down.
Salt would make a fantastic companion for someone with a low-key lifestyle.

- Inexperienced adopters welcome. Some experience with hearing impaired animals would be beneficial.
- Launch room 3 days.
- Would prefer a low-traffic home due to hearing impairment so as to not be easily startled.
- Suitable for respectful, older children (due to hearing impairment, can be easily startled).
- Shown interest in other cats in care. May enjoy having the company of another social FIV positive cat (or a friend with up-to-date vaccinations) with slow and proper introductions.
- Looooooves his food. Recommend feeding via enrichment!

Salt has been diagnosed with FIV therefore:

- Adopter MUST have no other cats OR have another cat with FIV. OR other cats with up-to-date FIV vaccination status (proof of vaccination must be sighted prior to adoption).

- MUST be an indoor cat only or adopter has a secure outdoor enclosure like a Catmax (due to skin pigmentation, wouldn't recommend he be out in the sun for long periods). House must have screens on all windows to prevent accidental escape.

- May require an in-person or virtual property check prior to adoption.

- Adopters must read and sign the Cat-FIV positive indemnity and understand the medical and lifestyle ramifications of owning an FIV positive cat as outlined in the FIV indemnity.
