Hi there! I'm Leah, a sweet, gentle girl with a heart full of hope.

Right now, I'm a little fearful and unsure in this shelter, but I know there's a warm, loving home out there waiting for me. I might be shy at first, but with a patient and caring human by my side, I just know I can come out of my shell and show you the love I have to give!

I would thrive in a home where I can have both inside and outside access, so I can explore at my own pace. I'm a tidy girl so toilet training should be a breeze! I would prefer a household without little children. Older children who understand my need for space would be just perfect for me.

Having a calm companion, either a female or male dog, would make my transition smoother. I feel more secure when I have a furry friend to rely on. I love soft, plush toys to snuggle with and comfort me, and I'm still figuring out how I feel about balls.

I'm a foodie at heart, especially when it comes to pig ears! This makes me very trainable, as treats really motivate me. I would be so grateful for gentle training, helping me to build confidence. It's important that I have secure 6ft fencing, as want to feel safe and sound in my new yard.

While I would love to go on weekly walks once I'm settled in, I also want to be included in family day-to-day activities, just cuddling up on the couch and soaking in all the love. I do enjoy ice blocks or egg cartons filled with high-value treats, which can provide some fun mental stimulation for me.
