Meet Miss Molly!
Young Molly is looking for a very special home. One that not only understands the craziness that can come with a life with staffies, but one that has the patience & understanding to cope with a beautiful girl who can sometimes feel overwhelmed by her environment. Molly is your typical under-socialised dog. She was not given the opportunity, when younger, to experience much of the human world & it can be a daunting place for her.
Molly likes treats, gentle talk & lots of fuss. She can take a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once she likes & trusts you, she'll come at you like a cannonball - true staffy stylie!
Molly wants a friend for life, someone willing to put in the time to let her discover the world in her own time. Having not been a dog who was used to going for walks, she surprised us by how quickly she took to wearing a harness & heading out to explore. She now loves her daily walks & her favourite thing is to go snuffling through the leaves & grass, soaking up all those interesting smells!
Oh & she just LOVES water! She was given her own paddling pool & she jumped straight in for her own personal pool party!
Molly needs a home where she is given choice & is not forced or pressured into situations that might frighten her. Giving choices to nervous dogs, gives them confidence & they tend to come out of their shell quicker than if we flood them with scary experiences.
Molly has made some dog friends at the shelter & has quite a rambunctious play style! She maybe needs to learn a few more social skills, but that's where you can help her on her journey :) She also needs to be an indoor girl as she will be much happier hanging out with you than left outside feeling lonely.
We know that there is the perfect home out there for Molly & we've told her that her new best friend will be coming for her soon. Could that be you?!
