Hi, I’m Winnie

Meet Winnie, a sweet and sensitive girl who was sadly surrendered through no fault of her own. This petite lady is a bit overwhelmed by the busy shelter environment and would thrive in a calm, quiet home. Winnie would do best as the only pet, as she's been stressed around other cats at the shelter. A slow introduction to her new home, starting in a small launch room, is recommended to help her adjust. She adores gentle attention, sitting in laps, and is especially fond of tasty treats like roast chicken! Winnie's previous owner shared that she is very affectionate with familiar people but may hide or hiss when visitors come over. She would be most comfortable in a household with older children who can understand her body language and give her the space she needs to feel safe. Winnie is ready for a patient, loving home to call her own.
