Budgeting 101: How much does it cost to own a pet?

Pet Care Posted Dec 1, 2020
Adding a furry friend to your family can be extremely rewarding – providing companionship, an exercise buddy and unconditional love – but don't forget before you bring an animal into your home, you need to consider the costs involved and factor these into your budget.

Pop Up Adoption is RSPCA Qld's biggest adoption event and happens every year in January. Early this year, over 400 animals were adopted and on January 13th 2018 it is back!

Whilst all RSPCA animals that are available for adoption deserve good loving homes, it's worth considering the upfront cost of adoption and ongoing expenses you could incur each year, watch the short video below to find out more. By adopting a dog or cat from the RSPCA that’s already desexed, microchipped, wormed and vaccinated it’s easier on your wallet and will send an animal to their forever home.

Do you research now and get prepared for your new adopted best friend at Pop Up Adoption, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Bank.
